Directed by Martin Brest from a screenplay by Daniel Petrie Jr. and starring Eddie Murphy, Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Lisa Eilbacher, Ronny Cox and Steven Berkoff, Beverly Hills Cop grossed $316.4 million worldwide and launched an ongoing franchise.
